Acoustically Transparent Fabric for Cinema Walls

Challenge: Selecting a wall fabric that enhanced the room’s aesthetics while ensuring it was acoustically transparent to prevent sound quality degradation.
Solution: Careful testing and selection of fabrics that met acoustic transparency requirements, ensuring sound passed through unobstructed. The speakers were aligned with seating positions while maintaining the uniform appearance of the wall panels.

Projector Positioning

Challenge: Placing the projector in a location that kept it out of view, minimised noise from the fans, and maintained an unobstructed view of the screen.
Solution: The projector was positioned above the bar area, far from the seating zone. Consequently concealing it from immediate view and leveraged the distance to project onto an ultra-wide, acoustically transparent fixed screen, which also concealed the front speakers.

Achieving Commercial Cinema Sound Quality

Challenge: Delivering high-quality sound on par with a commercial cinema while integrating the system into the room’s design.
Solution: M&K speakers were used for their superior performance. Speaker placement was meticulously planned to align with seating positions and ensure uniform sound coverage. Furthermore the front speakers were concealed behind the acoustically transparent screen for a clean aesthetic.
